The Hudson Valley Green Talent Pipeline Partnership promotes the region’s green economy -- strengthening the market for green products and services and opening up opportunities for green talent. This “Green Pipeline” of workers and innovative workforce development serves as a model for the entire region as well as the state. The Partnership is a consortium of regional workforce and economic development agencies, higher education institutions, and private and public employers. Under the leadership of workforce investment boards from Westchester/Putnam, Yonkers, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, Orange and Dutchess, the partnership has mapped out the region’s needs and options regarding green employment and identified hundreds of training options to create a green workforce. So far, the partnership has conducted a regional asset and gap analysis and trained at least one green specialist in each local One Stop Employment Center. Here you will find details about the work of the partnership, an employer database, a listing of green jobs and training options, and resources that may be used by workforce development stakeholders, green businesses and green job seekers.
